Saving the Trip Resource List to Your Phone’s Home Screen

This will allow you to access trip resources at the press of a button. It’s not a true “app,” but it is a shortcut to a simplified list of trip resources.

I will share instruction below for iPhone users for Safari or Chrome and Android users for Chrome or Samsung browser, including photos. 

This is only meant to make your life easier so you can keep track of resources. If it seems like too much, then you don’t have to do it! 

For iPhone using Safari Browser

  • Load the website I’ve given you
  • Click the three dots in the lower right corner
  • Click the Share icon
  • Click the three dots in the lower right corner (again)
  • Click “Add to Home Screen”
  • You will be given a chance to change the name if you wish. This step shows you what the “app” icon will be (in this case, the globe showing the Eastern Hemisphere)

 

For iPhone using Chrome Browser

  • Load the website I’ve given you
  • Click the Share icon in the upper right hand corner (to the right of the URL)
  • Click the 3 dots labeled “More”
  • Click “Add to Home Screen”

 

Android using Chrome Browser
